Mr Steinacher says Mercedes-Benz Thailand looks forward to increasing sales in the remaining months of 2019. Mercedes-Benz posted sales of 4,782 cars in the four months to April, up 0.5% on the same period last year. Frank Steinacher, vice-president for sales and marketing, said Mercedes-Benz Thailand saw first-quarter sales drop slightly after 36% year-on-year growth in December. According to Mr Steinacher, Mercedes-Benz has built up its business pillars in order to deliver what customers are demanding. For the EQ brand, Mercedes-Benz has introduced many plug-in hybrid electric cars in Thailand, accounting for roughly 35% of annual sales.
